The group covers 100% of its thermal requirements, both for production and for heating the factories, by burning the wood waste of the production process.

• At Industrial Area of Larisa and Grevena, the architectural design permits the use of natural light throughout the day rather than the use of artificial light.
• The reactive power factor has been maximized.
• Recyclable wood is used.
• A biomass boiler room system has been developed to produce thermal energy.
• Adhesives are saved by using innovative procedures (an indirect way of reducing the use of natural resources and energy).
• Exhaust gases are fully recovered.
